You're 'aving a giraffe if you think that Bilic has integrity and BFS does not. We all know who the mercenary and cheat is of the two.................oh and ask the Everton fans what they think of Bilic's time at Goddison."

Re: I had a dinner with Sam Allarydyce last week
Just to get some perspective on our last twelve PL games consider this.

Chelsea and Arsenal twice, Spurs, Manu, Southampton and Liverpool. From those games we got just three points. From the other games namely Hull, WBA, Swansea and Palace we got five points. Clearly we still struggle to take points from the teams above us but we have a run of winnable games coming up and hopefully our squad will be fitter too. We've missed players whether in attack, midfield or defence and this run has served to highlight the thinness of our squad beyond our best starting eleven."

"He then followed by saying that the club will be aiming for Champions League football within 5 years."

No shit Sherlock! SA will be 65 by then and hopefully long gone. Then we can target CL football in 2 years..."

Re: Im so glad i was carefull what i wished for
Hairy Hands;

"Best win this weekend? That had to be West Ham's at Everton. The Hammers have every right to be thinking about the top 4 right now. It was a fantastic comeback at Goodison. I agreed with Slaven Bilic, it was deserved because they were the best team from the first whistle. It didn't matter that Everton went to 10. Roberto Martinez has got a very good squad at Goodison right now and he's blown a big chance of a really good league place this season. Everton won't have such a good squad next season, believe me. Martinez could end up with a lot of regrets from his time in charge.

On the subject of West Ham. Let's keep this simple. I say again, I hope Bilic wins the FA Cup. I like his attitude towards the competition AND he's master-minded a terrific season so far. But - I do wish that a small minded minority of West Ham fans would understand that Bilic wouldn't have the club he's got to manage right now had it not been for Sam Allardyce. You were dead in the water when Allardyce picked the club up. He got you up - kept you up - twice - and left a fantastic platform for Bilic to work from. Bilic has said as much himself. Now that's it."

I'm not claiming that he was the best man for the job, or the only manager that could get us promoted, or the only way to play to get promoted and stay up.

That's completely irrelevant. He came in, did his job, left us in a better position in which we could move on to a better manager. Those are the only facts that matter, not some begrudging 'yeah, well he is not the only bloke that could have done it and it could have been done better' which is all you're left with.

For all your moaning about Allardyce, we came out it rather well, so I find the hatred for him funny.

Re: Im so glad i was carefull what i wished for
We had all our discussions about who we wished to see, or not to see, replacing BFS way back. For most of us whether it was our first choice or not we got on with it. We want to get enjoyment out of supporting our team and for me we are way exceeding my expectations in terms of results and performances.
